The Walton family are currently working at
Village of Hope - Malawi (VOHM), a ministry to
orphaned and vulnerable children. Village of Hope - Malawi provides education through its
school, healthcare through local hospitals, nutrition through its feeding program and shelter
through its children's homes to at-risk children. Jef and Renatta Walton serve faithfully
as the national director and Village administrator of VOHM. In total, 210 children are currently
supported through the ministry of VOHM. Most of these precious children live in the high-density
and low-income community named Kauma. Renatta is also an adjunct faculty member
at Master's College and Seminary where she continues to teach online courses.
Jef and Renatta have been serving in
Malawi, Africa since November 2014. Before moving
to Africa Jef worked as a plumber, a youth pastor, and served on the board of his church.
Renatta served as the administrator of their home church for five years and she has been
teaching at Master's College and Seminary since 2008 both online and on campus.
